    St. Anne's Charity School, a part of Kalimpong St. Thomas, provides essential education up to class 2 for children from impoverished backgrounds. Established in 1999 by Praveen Agarwal, the school offers a stepping stone for these children to continue their education in government schools. Each year, three exceptional students receive sponsorship for further education, while the others continue their studies in government schools.
      The school ensures that every child receives basic necessities such as school uniforms, safe transportation, lunch and books. Funding for St. Anne's comes from various sources, including "Sponsors from the Church", individuals from Woodbridge, England, who call themselves "The Abhinash Group", a group from Sussex known as "Friends of St. Annes" and "Children of the Raj".
     Despite its humble beginnings, St. Anne's has grown to become a beacon of hope for underprivileged children, thanks to the dedication of its founder and the support of its sponsors.
